The learner will choose from two scenarios and write a classified ad which could be posted in the local newspaper.

Dictionary and/or thesaurus
Could also use a word-processing program to complete task
Review various examples of classified ads with your learners
There is also the option of creating classified ads online with “yourclassifieds.ca”, which could be used as the next step of learning (online classifieds are free)
